Jim and Angie McCormack have run J.Mac out of Richmond since 1991. Same family, same phone number, and a good number of the same customers.
We are a residential garage door company serving the Lower Mainland, including North and West Vancouver. Sales, installation, service and repair - broken springs and automatic openers most days of the week. We carry Clopay doors and LiftMaster operators, and we repair whatever is already on your garage regardless of who made it.
With over 40 years in garage doors, Jim is the one who has seen it before. He pays close attention to detail and holds the work to the standard he would want at his own house, which is why the difficult jobs tend to end up with him. His complimentary in-home consultations are unhurried on purpose - the right door is worth getting right. When he is not working, he is on a golf course, or hitting a bucket. Or two.
For over 30 years Angie has answered the phone, handled the sales and sourced the parts. If you call J.Mac, you are almost certainly speaking to her, and she will get you booked in sooner than you expect. When she is not looking after customers she is working her way through the city's food markets, hunting the right ingredient for whatever she is cooking that week.

The vans carry the parts and the samples. No second trip to fetch a spring, and no trip across town for you to look at a brochure.
