Canyon Ridge - Steel Insulated with Composite & Wood Overlays.

Canyon Ridge is a carriage house style door finished to look like real wood. A composite cladding and overlay is molded from actual wood pieces, so it reproduces the natural texture and intricate grain of the species it emulates without the upkeep of a timber door. Clopay builds it in four and five layer construction, with R-values from 6.5 up to 20.4.

How it works

Real carriage doors swing outward, which means clearance, weather seals that struggle, and a manual operation nobody wants in February. This is the appearance - the overlays, the strap hinges, the divided lights - sitting on a sectional door that lifts up and out of the way like anything else.

Carriage House (4-Layer) - steel, Intellicore® polyurethane, steel and a composite overlay. 18.4 R-value
Carriage House (5-Layer) - adds full composite cladding across the face. 20.4 R-value
Chevron - five layers, chevron-patterned overlay. 20.4 R-value
Louver - five layers, louvered overlay. 18.4 to 20.4 R-value

Design overview

Carriage House comes in 4-layer and 5-layer construction; Chevron and Louver are 5-layer; Elements is 4-layer.
2" Intellicore® polyurethane insulation with a thermal break on Carriage House, Chevron and Louver. R-values 18.4 to 20.4.
Elements uses 1-3/8" polystyrene, 6.5 R-value, and is the Canyon Ridge door Clopay recommends for dark paint colours.
Available composite cladding materials are Clear Cypress, Mahogany and Pecky Cypress.
Available composite overlay materials are Clear Cypress and Mahogany.
The cladding and overlay materials are molded from actual wood pieces to reproduce the natural texture and intricate grain patterns of the species they emulate.
Can be painted and, in most cases, stained.
Many glass options available including clear, frosted, seeded and insulated.
Attractive beveled edge clip-in window grilles are removable for easy cleaning.
Comes complete with spade lift handles and step plates.
