The Bridgeport Steel collection offers a recessed panel steel insulated garage door in a traditional shaker style that combines the traditional symmetry of wood stile and rail door designs with the proven durability of Clopay's three-layer steel construction. This provides exceptional strength and energy efficiency as well as quiet operation. Bridgeport doors come with a limited life warranty on the paint system, a 10 year warranty on windows, and a three-year warranty on hardware.
Why people pick it
Shaker works because it repeats what is already on the house - the interior doors, the cabinetry, the porch rail. It reads as considered rather than decorative, and it does not date the way a heavily moulded panel does. In white or a soft off-white it disappears politely; in charcoal it becomes the feature.
