An operator is built to guide a balanced door, not to haul a dead weight. If the springs are tired we will say so before we quote you for a new unit, because a new opener on a badly balanced door will fail early and you will have paid twice.

Battery backup keeps the door working through a power cut, which on the Lower Mainland is not a theoretical concern. Extra remotes and an outdoor keypad cost far less fitted during the install than as a later call-out.

We are proud to offer LiftMaster Chamberlain Professional Series overhead door openers. Because we are a dealer, your warranty will be honoured and carried out by us - which means you do not have to worry about taking the unit apart and sending it back to the manufacturer. Buyer beware: cheaper products are on the market, however they are often discontinued, difficult to get parts for, and will not be warrantied by your garage door professional.
Most are a single visit, including removing the old unit and testing the safety features.
Partly. A belt drive is much quieter than an old chain drive, but if the rollers and springs are worn those will still be the loudest thing in the garage. We will tell you what is actually making the noise.

If your garage is the main way into the house, yes. Without it, a power cut means lifting the door by hand.
